Northern Illawarra Art Trail ​
The Next Art Trailwill be held on 2 & 3 November 2024
       10am to 3 pm 

If you are driving to or around around the Art Trail, we recommend you visit on Saturday 2 November. Unbeknown to us the MS City to Gong Bike Ride is coming down Lawrence Hargrave Drive (LHD) on Sunday 3 November.  We are waiting information on traffic restrictions, In the past parking on LHD has been prohibited & a 40KM speed limit imposed. We assume this will happen again.
Parking will be still be available on Sunday in side streets of LHD & beach parking, and you can still walk to the studios on Sunday.
Also the road will be closed from Waterfall Station, via Cedar Flats in the Royal National Park, through Otford to Bald Hill where the road reopens, We will update this information as we learn more. 
We have been in touch with the organisers of the Cycle Ride who have agreed that they will put their event in the Events Database designed for this purpose, to avoid similiar situations again.
​Come immerse yourself in the arts & discover the studios of the northern Illawarra where all types of art is created. Following on from the wonderful success of the inaugural trails, the artists will be opening their studios for the 2 days.

You will see a wonderful range of arts ranging from abstract to realism in oils, acrylics and watercolours, prints, photography, sculpture & a variety of ceramics.  Come see & discuss the artists sketchbooks, their studies & ask about their processes.

​Follow the beautiful route wedged between the magnificent coast & escarpment from Thirroul past the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Ocean, & over the famous Seacliff Bridge to Helensburgh. 
Travel in either direction through an area which is renowned for its excellent dining provided by the ever growing number of fine quality cafes, restaurants & hotels.  You have probably seen the inspiring story on TV about the volunteer run Coledale RSL now reopened with an extensive Italian menu. There are many quality places to eat and drink throught the Northern Illawarra.
